Olympic Medical Center hosts a diabetes support group meeting at 6:30 p.m. on the fourth Tuesday of each month in the Seasons Café in Olympic Memorial Hospital, 939 Caroline St., Port Angeles.
Upcoming topics are “Preparing a Diabetes Friendly Meal” by Olympic Medical’s Chef Matt Fineout on June 25, and “Emergency Preparedness” by Jamye Wisecup of the Clallam County Sheriff’s Emergency Management Unit on July 23.
The group is free and open to the public; no registration is required.

You and Your Baby
The You and Your New Baby Support Group meets on a drop-in basis every Monday and Thursday from 4-5:30 p.m. at Olympic Memorial Hospital’s third floor sunroom, 939 Caroline St., Port Angeles.
This group is for parents and babies experiencing the first few days, weeks and year of becoming a family. Each group will focus on the needs of the parents present, including newborn behavior, care and feeding.
The transition into parenting along with the physical and emotional postpartum issues are discussed.
The group is free and open to the public; no registration is required.
Advance Care Planning
Learn how to be prepared for unexpected medical emergencies with end-of-life conversations — talks that help clarify healthcare wishes with loved ones before a crisis occurs. Olympic Medical Center’s Advance Care Planning sessions are free and available weekly in Sequim and Port Angeles.
