Hildur C. Gunnell died of age-related causes in her Sequim residence on Oct. 16, 2019. She was 97.

Gunnell was born Aug. 30, 1922.

Emil George Gendreau

June 30, 1920 – October 1, 2019

Emil George Gendreau, 99, passed away on October 1, 2019, in Port Angeles, of natural causes.

He married Irene Kae Knight in November 1955.

Emil made his career with the military; serving in WWII 30 days past D-Day. He was both a hero and a legend.

He enjoyed pinochle and cribbage with a passion.

He is survived by his son Clyde (Stacey) Gendreau.

A memorial service will be at a later date in Tahoma National Cemetery.
