Lorraine Cannon has joined Olympic Medical Center as the organization’s new chief financial officer (CFO) on April 20.
Cannon will serve as internal auditor and oversee all finance staff, including accounts payable and payroll, OMC officials said this week.
She will also lead the materials management staff and the revenue cycle team which includes patient access services, health information management and patient financial services.
“Lorraine is an excellent addition to the leadership team, and she will do really well as our CFO. The experience and patient focus she brings to Olympic Medical Center will be very valuable in this challenging health care environment,” says Eric Lewis, chief executive officer.
Most recently, Cannon was the chief financial officer at Methodist Specialty and Transplant Hospital in San Antonio, Texas, a 383-bed hospital where she worked to expand a live donor kidney program.
She also served as Assistant Chief Financial Officer/Senior Controller for a medical center in Denver, Colorado. Cannon was assistant controller at HealthOne in Colorado during the development and construction of the Rocky Mountain Hospital for Children.
“I was very impressed while researching this facility, and I’m really excited to be joining Olympic Medical Center,” says Cannon.
Cannon joins the executive team at OMC that includes: Eric Lewis, chief executive officer; Darryl Wolfe, chief operating officer; Scott Kennedy, MD, chief medical officer; Josh Jones, MD, chief physician officer; Ralph Parker, RN, chief nursing officer; Jennifer Burkhardt, chief human resources officer and general counsel, and Donna Davison, risk and compliance officer.
