Serenity stores now open Sundays, offering affordable shopping every day

Both Serenity House Thrift Stores now are open from 11 a.m.-4 p.m. Sundays to serve the community every day of the week. Donations are accepted and pick-ups can be scheduled.

Serenity House’s two thrift stores, Serenity House Thrift Store – Port Angeles and Serenity Shop –

Sequim, sell gently used items including furniture, clothes, books and household goods, as well as holiday gifts and unusual, hard-to-locate items. On occasion, items such as automobiles, RVs, jewelry and special collectibles are available.

Both stores welcome community donations of salable items. Pick-up of large items may be arranged by calling the stores in advance.

The stores provide about 20 percent of the financial support for Serenity House of Clallam County’s mission to end homelessness.

Both stores welcome community volunteers who want to help with organizing donations, advertising and sales.

Serenity House Thrift Store – Port Angeles is at 502 E. First St., Port Angeles, just east of the post office. There is plenty of parking next to the building. The store is open 9 a.m.-

6 p.m. Monday-Saturday. Call 452-4711.

Serenity Shop – Sequim is at 215 N. Sequim Ave., Sequim. There is plenty of public parking in front of and behind the store. The store is open 9:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m. Monday-Friday and 9:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Saturday. Call 683-8269.
