Games abounded on July 18 in the Olympic Peninsula Academy gym for the Summer Reading Program’s Discovery Club.

Children raced as Mario, Luigi and friends in “Mario Kart” for the Nintendo Switch and played several card and board games, including Jenga.

Multiple free Summer Reading Program events continue into August, including Discovery Bay Wild Bird Rescue at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, July 25, in the gym, 400 N. Second Ave., and a “Barbie” watch party at 6 p.m. Friday, July 26, in the Sequim Library Temporary Location, 609 W. Washington St., unit 21.
