Time to stand up, Wolves. That’s the message hundreds of graduating seniors from Sequim High School received at their commencement ceremonies Friday night, coming from their principal, Shawn Langston, and a host of their classmates.
The backstory goes a little something like this: Al Piemme, a several-times national bicycling champion and member of several Sequim bike groups, asked his wife one night what the weather was like. She told him it was good and he said, "Good — I think I'll get my clothes on and ride up Hurricane Ridge." He died shortly thereafter.
