Well, election season is, for the most part, in the books, and I think we call all breathe a sigh of relief and get back to what we think our traditional roles in politics should be: complaining.

With a 6-0 win in a shortened half of play at Silverdale Stadium, Port Angeles' Roughriders have ended Sequim's season Tuesday evening.

On Thursday night, Sequim was hoping for a victory and to add extra time to their season. The Wolves got the extra time, but not in the way they intended.

School drops senior projects

A high school graduation requirement that has students completing a “senior culminating project” is on the way out for Sequim High School seniors. The change was official as of Oct. 20 and will be in effect beginning with the class of 2015 (this year’s seniors).

Cross Country: Sequim boys sweep at home

The Wolves looked to make the most of their lone regular season home meet last week in a double-dual against Port Angeles and Port Townsend. Behind strong finishes from their state No. 2-ranked crew, Sequim’s boys cruised to a team win with 20 points, easily out-pacing P.T.’s Redhawks (57 points) and P.A.’s Roughriders (58).
