The larger quilts will be used in Captain Joseph House, while the smaller comfort quilts will be presented to Gold Star family members. The Captain Joseph House Foundation is a one-of-a-kind 501(c)3 nonprofit that supports Gold Star Families of the U.S. military’s fallen war heroes since 9/11 from all branches of the military.<ins> The foundation looks to ensure a place for families of the fallen to gather for respite and to provide a continuum of care for their personal healing.
