Builders’ surplus sale, tool swap set

Attendees at the annual builders’ surplus sale — set for noon-3 p.m. Saturday, April 16, at the Clallam County Fairgrounds, 1608 W. 16th St., Port Angeles — will be introduced to a new addition, a tool swap.

The public is invited to bring tools to donate to the surplus sale or to leave tools to be sold during the sale and receive 60 percent of the proceeds, with 40 percent going to the North Peninsula Building Association, the sales host.

Entrance for the sale at the fairgrounds is through the green gate that leads to the sheep barn; signs will be posted. Gates open from 10-11 a.m. for those bringing in tools for the swap. The green gate will be reopened at noon for both the tool swap and surplus sale.
