75 years of cooperation

The Clallam Cooperative Association will hold its annual meeting of shareholders/members at 7 p.m. Monday, Jan. 24, at the Co-op Farm and Garden, 216 E. Washington St.

Members will elect directors and hear annual reports. Refreshments, music, drawings, coupons and a mortgage-burning will mark the association’s 75th anniversary.

McAleer honored

Re/Max Fifth Avenue congratulates E. Michael McAleer of Team McAleer, the 2010 recipient of the Sequim Association of Realtors Community Service Award. As president of Citizens for Sequim Schools, McAleer worked to pass the 2010 school levy.

Free business-tax workshop

The Port Angeles office of the Washington State Department of Revenue hosts a free workshop for new- and small-business owners from 9 a.m.-noon Tuesday, Jan. 18, at the Clallam Transit System Conference Room, 830 W. Lauridsen Blvd., Port Angeles.
