Carlsborg Chiropractic Center’s new hours

The newly remodeled Carlsborg Chiropractic Center, 863 Carlsborg Road, Suite C, Sequim, has changed office hours. Hours are 1-7 p.m. Monday and Wednesday; 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Tuesday; and 1-6 p.m. Friday. The office is closed on Thursday. Call 683-4824.

McComb staffers complete workshop

Cindy Pemberton and Joella Cary of McComb Gardens attended the WSU Urban Integrated Pest Management and Pesticide Safety Education Workshop II — Plant Health and Abiotic Diseases — Feb. 9 at UW Center for Urban Horticulture. All staff at McComb Gardens are IPM certified or certification students.

Roberts completes commercial class

Dewyn Roberts of JACE The Real Estate Company in Port Angeles has completed a commercial property management course at the Rockwell Institute in Bellevue. Roberts is expanding her background of property management and sales to include commercial property and business sales.

Quality Inn & Suites Sequim,  134 River Road, Sequim, has received a 2010 Platinum Hospitality Award from its franchisor, Choice Hotels International, Inc.

The hotel is one of only three hotels within the state of Washington and one of 27 hotels out of 1,369 Quality locations to receive “Platinum Award” status.

Riffle named as partner

Christopher J. Riffle is a new partner in the Platt Irwin Law Firm. A 1993 graduate of Port Angeles High School, Riffle earned a bachelor’s degree in history and sociology from the University of Washington in 1998 and graduated the University of Nebraska College of Law with high distinction in 2006.  His areas of practice include real property, corporate law, estate planning and probate law, and civil litigation.
