Bead weaving taught

A bead weaving class is offered from 6-9 p.m. Tuesday, June 28, at R&T Crystals, 158 E. Bell St., Sequim.

All required materials and tools for making a bracelet are provided. Call 681-5087 to preregister.  

R&T Crystals is open 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday-Friday and 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday.

Turn flowers into art

Creating a fresh bridal bouquet is part of a flower techniques class and luncheon offered by The Cutting Garden from 11 a.m.-

2 p.m. Wednesday, June 22, at 303 Dahlia Llama Lane,

Food drive nets 1,300 items, continues

Strait Occupational & Hand Therapy’s Helping Hands 2011 Food Drive netted nearly 1,300 food items and $250 to support Port Angeles and Sequim food banks. Through August, the office will collect nonperishable items for the Friday Food Bank, which offers school children bags of food on Fridays for the weekend. Call 360-417-0703.

Munchkins to close

Munchkins Children’s Consignment, 166 E. Bell St., Sequim, is holding a close-out sale. Consignment items not sold or picked up by July 1 will be donated to Foster Family Closet. Call 683-7878.

Cutting Garden’s new hours set

The Cutting Garden at 303 Dahlia Llama Lane, off Woodcock Road in Sequim, is open for U-cut flowers Friday-Sunday from dawn to dusk. To cut a large number of flowers for an event, call Kindryn at 360-775-0734.

Hospital guild store open Saturday

The Sequim Dungeness Hospital Guild’s Thrift Shop, 204 W. Bell St. in Sequim, will be open from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday, June 18. All white-tagged merchandise will be half price during the sale.

Volunteers are always needed at the shop; call 683-7044 for more information.
