Grocery Outlet opens Aug. 13

A grand opening celebration  is set for 8 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 13, at Grocery Outlet, 1045 W. Washington St.

The first 500 customers receive a Frugal Friendly bag. Free coffee/treats are from 8-11 a.m., free face painting/caricatures from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. and 2-6 p.m., and free ice cream floats, twisty balloons and contests from 11 a.m.-3 p.m.

Ten winners of a $50 Grocery Outlet gift card will be announced at noon on Sunday, Aug. 14.

 

 

Hult joins Pacific Primary Care

James Hult, M.D. recently joined Pacific Primary Care at 800 N. Fifth Ave., Sequim.

Hult relocated from San Francisco, Calif., where he worked in general, internal and sports medicine. He graduated from medical school at Harvard University and completed his residency at Brigham Hospital in Boston, Mass. Call 582-2690.

 

 

Sequim Health, Rehab releases survey results

Sequim Health and Rehabilitation, 650 W. Hemlock St., has released results of a satisfaction survey of residents and their family members. Done in conjunction with My Inner-

View, an independent research firm, the survey indicates that 88 percent of respondents were satisfied overall with the services offered at the center and 90 percent of respondents would recommend the center to others.

Sequim businessman to aid in Philippines

Scott Robinson, owner of European Autowerks in

Sequim and a volunteer response team member with the ShelterBox international disaster relief charity, departed July 29 for the Philippines after a tropical storm struck the nation July 27. More than 150,000 families have been affected by tropical storm Juaning, which made landfall in the province of Aurora. This is the seventh effort with ShelterBox for Robinson.
