Seattle blogger at Nash’s Farm Store
On Friday, Nov. 4, Debra Daniels-Zeller, Seattle food writer and blogger, will be at the grand opening of Nash’s Farm Store to sign her newest book, “The Northwest Vegetarian Cookbook.” The book has more than 200 recipes that celebrate the flavors of the Northwest, with cooking tips and stories about farms and farmers, including Nash’s Organic Produce. Cindy Pemberton, plant manager at McComb Gardens, 751 McComb Road in Sequim, attended the Northwest Horticultural Society’s Program “Putting the Garden to Bed” on Oct. 20 at the Miller Botanical Garden/The Highlands, Seattle. The Miller Botanical Garden is open only three times a year; Pemberton applied and was accepted to attend the program.

Vet extends education in feline illnesses
