New ownership

North Coast Eye Care, 560 N. Fifth Ave., will celebrate its new ownership with an Open House from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Friday, July 25, featuring free vision screenings, raffles, games and prizes.

Dr. My Huynh, O.D. and Dr. Stacy Chen, O.D. are the optometry clinic’s new owners. They are taking over for Dr. Nicole Campbell, who is retiring. Laura Terry is their office manager.

Huynh completed his ocular residency at Northwest Eye Surgeons in Sequim. Both doctors have previously worked at Costco in Sequim.

Marking 50 years

Sequim Electronics, an authorized RadioShack dealer, is celebrating its 50th year in business.

Opened in July 1975 in Creamery Square, the store changed hands a few times over the years and in 1993 moved to its current location at 680 W. Washington St. Current co-owner Becky Northaven said the store is celebrating hitting the half-century mark with a monthlong sale that kicked off July 1.
