Young entrepreneur event set in Sequim

Danielle Keith of Port Angeles Photography is hosting a Holiday Market from 2-7 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 10, at the Sequim Prairie Grange, 290 Macleay Road.

The event is for youths of ages 8-18; local school districts are off in observance of Veteran’s Day.

The vendor fee is $20 and will be used to rent out the hall. Any funds above the grange rental fee will be used to make the event more festive, Keith said. Set-up is between 9 a.m.-1:45 p.m.

Carlsborg’s TFW gym adjusts open hours

The Training for Warriors (TFW) gym in Carlsborg has added open gym hours to its current programs.

Hours are now 10 a.m.-4:30 p.m. and 5:30 p.m.-12 a.m., Monday-Thursday; and 5 a.m.-12 a.m. Fridays; 5-7 a.m. and 8:30 a.m.-12 a.m. Saturdays; and, 5 a.m.-12 a.m. on Sundays.

“We have received requests to add an open gym for personal workouts,” owner Talece Graham said.

The gym’s class times remain the same: 5 a.m., 6 a.m., 8:30 a.m., 9:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday-Thursday, and 7 a.m. on Saturdays. The classes are supportive rather than competitive, owners note.

The gym is at 261425 U.S. Highway 101, immediately west of Sunny Farms Country Store.
