Scott named to APEX team
The Clallam County Economic Development Council has announced that Jennifer Scott is the new North Olympic APEX Accelerator counselor.
Scott moved to Clallam County in 2010. Prior to joining the APEX team, she worked in human resources, supporting staffing, training, and leadership development across Western Washington. She brings a strong background in strategic HR, team leadership, and organizational development, according to the EDC.
With over a decade of experience in business operations and workforce development, Scott also has experience in education, having taught vocational courses at the high school level. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree from California State University, Fresno.
New faces at Olympic Medical
Dr. Erin Ellison has joined the urology team at Olympic Medical Physicians. She’ll see patients in both Port Angeles and Sequim OMP Specialty Clinics.
Olympic Medical Center has welcomed Emily Wallen, DO, obstetrician-gynecologist, to the OMP Women’s Health tea, which together provides well-woman care, contraception, and pregnancy and postpartum care.
Physician Assistant David Durkee has joined Dr. David Murphy of OMP’s Pulmonary Medicine specialty, where they treat a wide range of disorders centered around the lungs and respiratory system. Durkee has more than 20 years of health care experience, first as a registered respiratory therapist and registered polysomnography technologist, then as a physician assistant. Over the past year, he has worked in sleep medicine.
