Summer hours at Co-op

The Co-op Farm and Garden, 216 E. Washington St., Sequim, has gone to its summer hours. They are 8 a.m.-6 p.m. Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday and 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Sunday. Propane tank filling and electric vehicle charging are available during those same times.


Fit4Life specials in May

To celebrate Exercise is Medicine Month, Fit4Life Studio is offering everyone who stops by one free trial class during the month of May. In addition, anyone who runs in the River Center Run at the Irrigation Festival gets to try out classes free for a week if they bring in their race bib. Therapist joins clinic

Jennifer Jurgensen, CCC-SLP, will be joining fellow speech pathologist Dana Doss at Dungeness Speech and Language, a speech therapy practice dedicated to providing skilled intervention to children with speech, language and social communication delays and disorders. Jurgensen has been a practicing speech language pathologist on the North Olympic Peninsula for the past 10 years, primarily helping children in the public school setting. RE/MAX presents awards

RE/MAX Fifth Avenue recently held its annual awards dinner in the Legends Room at The Cedars at Dungeness. RE/MAX awards were presented to the following brokers for their performance in 2014: Chairman’s Club Award to Team McAleer plus a seventh place award for commissions earned in the Pacific Northwest Region; 100% Club Awards to Claire Koenigsaecker, David Kruth, Dan Tash, Douglas Hale, Liz Parks, Rita Adragna, Shawnna Rigg and Trisha Cobb. The Executive Club Award went to Lynn Moreno and Rookie of the Year Award went to Nell Clausen.


Via Vita hosts health talks

Via Vita, 128 W. Bell St., Sequim, will now be hosting two free health talks each month. Dr. Ryan Iskenderian, DC, a chiropractic applied kinesiologist, will speak on a multitude of health and wellness related subjects each “Wellness Wednesday.” May’s talk topics are on proper nutrition and diet. The talks will begin at 6:15 p.m. and should only last about 30 minutes, with time for questions at the end. Today, Wednesday, May 6, the talk will be “You Are What You Eat” and in two weeks, May 20, the talk topic will be “Dietary Myths and Facts.”

Free workouts in the park
