SBA, NODC sign two-year pact

The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) Seattle District Office and the North Olympic Peninsula Resource Conservation and Development Council (NODC) formalized a two-year strategic alliance and celebrated with a signing ceremony in Sequim on June 27.

The Strategic Alliance Memorandum allows both organizations to cross promote and collaborate on business training and services which will better connect and empower the small business ecosystem on the Olympic Peninsula.

SBA and NODC leadership arranged a signing ceremony at the public monthly NODC meeting at the John Wayne Marina in Sequim on June 27.

“This partnership between the SBA and the NODC will help to ensure that local businesses are able to take advantage of everything the SBA has to offer to support their businesses,” Affeld said.

The SBA and U.S. Department of Agriculture hosted Rural Strong small business training and networking events in Sequim in March 2019 as part of the Rural Strong Initiative.
