Sweets businesses hosting peanut butter drive
WeDo Fudge and Cascade Caramel host their annual Peanut Butter Drive to benefit the Sequim Food Bank in August.
The businesses, at 11 Valley Center Place, are accepting jars of peanut butter between noon-5 p.m., Tuesday through Saturday, during the month to donate to the food bank; to sweeten the deal, each jar of peanut butter qualifies for a punch on their loyalty card.
WeDo Fudge has a long-standing tradition of joining forces with their community-oriented neighbor, the Clallam County Public Utility District No. 1 (PUD), to make a positive impact on Sequim. Last year, through their combined efforts, they collected and donated 467 pounds of peanut butter to the Sequim Food Bank. With the help of the community, their goal for 2024 is 500 pounds.
