Price Ford fundraiser scheduled for SHS

Price Ford Lincoln in Port Angeles is putting on its annual Drive One 4UR School fundraiser in Sequim High School parking lot from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Sunday, May 31.

This is the second time Sequim will be hosting the fundraiser.

For each test drive, the Ford Motor Company donates $20 per demo (one per household) to the Sequim ASB, up to $6,000.

Over the years this fundraiser has generated over $41,000 for local high schools. Funds have gone toward the ASB’s orchestra, band, athletics and other leadership programs.

There is no pressure to buy a vehicle, event organizers say.

“We just want everyone to come out and have a good time. It’s all about supporting our local schools and kids,”  event coordinator Joel Elliott said.

Yoga classes offered

Yoga instructor Pat Mortati, formerly McCollum, is teaching gentle yoga classes specifically for chronic inflammation that begin June 2 on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10:45 a.m.-noon at 803 Carlsborg Road Ste. D, Carlsborg. Fees apply.
