As it has prepared to close out 2025, the board of the Sequim-Dungeness Valley Chamber of Commerce and chamber ambassadors took time to welcome a new business and honor one of its valued members.
On Friday, Dec. 5 — during the First Friday Art Walk — the chamber held a ribbon-cutting at Spoonbar Sweets, 171 W. Washington St. The bakery is owned by Dominique Hall, who also owns Rainshadow Cafe, a longtime chamber member.
At its monthly board meeting, the chamber presented its Member of the Month Award for November to the Peninsula Trails Coalition. Board president Rich James and new executive director Ann Livingston were on hand to accept the award.
