First Federal helps support paths out of poverty

Brad Hardy, new manager of the First Federal branch at 227 E. Sixth St., Port Angeles, presented a $1,500 First Federal Community Dividend to Viola Ware, Serenity House program director for Housing Resource Centers, Youth and Young Adult Services and HUB/DreamU educational programs.

The donation will help provide individual counseling and case management for people who are homeless or at risk of losing their housing, who participate in HUB and DreamU workforce readiness and financial education classes.
