Jones Arms is gearing up to give its customers firearms that are right on target.

The Jones family-owned, retail firearms shop officially opened on June 30 looks to provide customers with a variety of services, from manufacturing parts to designing and building custom firearms.

The shop is open from 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Monday through Friday, 10 a.m.- 4 p.m. on Saturdays and is closed on Sundays at 261423 US Highway 101.

The store’s owners, brothers Kevin Jones and Eric Jones (and Eric’s wife Sarah Jones), said their business specializes in both manufacturing parts and selling a variety of fire arms, ammunition, parts and accessories.

“We’re the only full-service gun shop on the peninsula,” Kevin said.

The shop sells a variety of firearms from competition shooting to hunting to general home defense. Jones Arms also offers repair, restoration and customization services and owns a manufacturing space on Hooker Road that machines Jones Arms products.

“We’re the only business doing the machining,” Kevin said.

“Our motto is ‘get it how you want it’ — so if a customer wants something built a special way we can do that.”

The business originally started just manufacturing firearms in 2016. Eric started the business from his years of experience manufacturing products for large companies and industries such as Aerospace and the military. Eric eventually decided to start his own business in manufacturing firearms and now has the retail store he co-owns with his wife and younger brother.

“He was the go-to guy for some of those high-end chamber designs,” Kevin said of his brother Eric.

The Jones brothers also own Jones Industries Tech, which serves as a contract machine shop that manufactures designs and builds for products that are non-firearm related. The business also offers laser engraving and other custom-design services.

The brothers said the company is gaining traction in the competition world and in its custom building of firearms. They also say they have manufactured 25 firearms of their own Jones Arms brand.

“From fit to finish, we offer good quality manufacturing,” Eric said.

The business also has services available to law enforcement agencies and provides sponsorship for community agencies such as 4-H air rifle programs, the local NRA chapter, junior ROTC and the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation.
