Lincoln buys Sequim’s Allform Welding Inc.

Lincoln Industrial Corporation Inc. of Port Angeles has acquired Allform Welding Inc. of Sequim.

Lincoln Industrial Corporation Inc. of Port Angeles has acquired Allform Welding Inc. of Sequim.

The sale closed July 29, according to Will Possinger, president and CEO of Lincoln Industrial at 4130 S. Tumwater Truck Route.

Possinger declined to name the purchase price.

Lincoln Industrial, which employs between 17-20 people, will hire the five employees of Allform Welding, Possinger said. No jobs will be lost, he said.

“In fact,” Possinger said, “we expect to add jobs for the anticipated additional work.”

Said his brother, co-owner Brian Possinger: “The acquisition of Allform takes us much more deeply into a growing segment of the market that we had not given strong focus to before.”

Allform Welding Inc. will become a division of Lincoln Industrial, Will Possinger said.

Dan Donovan, owner of Allform Welding, said that although the two companies had competed on some products, “Lincoln’s scope has always exceeded that of Allform.

“Combining the abilities and experiences of these two companies will result in across-the-board benefits to customers and employees,” said Donovan, who will work for a short time for the company as project superintendent, according to Will Possinger.

Lincoln is the largest manufacturing and welding company based in Port Angeles, he said. Established in 1946, it will celebrate its 70th anniversary in September.

Allform Welding Inc., founded in 1991, grew to become the leading fabricator of steel and miscellaneous metals in Sequim, according to an announcement of the sale.
