Nash’s Farm Store hosts Vicki Miller, author of “Pure Poultry: Living Well With Heritage Chickens, Turkeys and Ducks” as she presents her book and talks about the basics of raising poultry at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 6, at 4681 Sequim-Dungeness Way in Dungeness. Washington’s job growth accelerated in June and the unemployment rate fell to its lowest level in six years, according to preliminary, seasonally adjusted estimates by economists with the state’s Employment Security Department.
