Sequim locations are among region’s lottery ‘Luckiest Stores’ for ’13

Washington’s Lottery announced its annual list of “Luckiest Stores” – retail locations that sold the most winning tickets worth $1,000 or more in the previous year — with two of the West Puget Sound’s stores in Sequim and one in Port Angeles.

P.A.’s Mount Pleasant Village was No. 2 on the list with seven, $1,000-plus “wins.” Sequim’s Safeway was third on the list with six wins while Carlsborg Station, the Shell-owned gas station at 20 Carlsborg Road, tied for fourth with four “wins.”

The Silverdale-area Safeway store topped the list with 10 “wins” of $1,000 plus. See walottery.com.
