Sequim Gazette photo by Emily Matthiessen
Artist Craig Robinson and his dog, Flareon, share the painting he will contribute to Sequim’s City Arts Advisory Commission’s outdoor recycled and reused art show “Art All Over, The Art Show Without Walls.” Robinson’s painting, “Octopus Man” depicts a building on Cline Spit, built in the 1940s. He was told that the original owner was an octopus hunter. The painting was made on recycled wood with a coat of Helmsman varnish to protect it in the outside weather. The commission is hoping for many more submissions and has extended the deadline.
