2024 Election: Clallam last of its kind in nation

It’s not often that Clallam County is in the national news.

Sequim Gazette photo by Matthew Nash/ Clallam PUD crews respond to the 200 block of Riverside Road to repair power lines that fell due to high winds knocking over a tree on Nov. 4. Power went out for about 180 customers in the Dungeness Meadows area. Due to high winds, electricity for about 1,500 households was knocked out across Clallam County as of Monday afternoon. Crews with Clallam PUD were responding across the area, including to outages reported near Graysmarsh Farm and on Bell Hill.
