I believe the members should be paid for their attendance time, but a 60 percent increase is obscene.

This is exactly what I expected to see when they got their new city hall complex. This is a prelude to the increasing cost of city government now that they have room to expand. There is a correlation between the new city hall and their attempt to elevate their self-perceived stature in the community. They brought in a big city manager with a big city salary to grow a big city government.

Well folks, secure your purses and wallets, because this is the beginning.
