7 Cedars hosts benefit concert on Veterans Day

Text Beatles tribute band Crème Tangerine plays 7 Cedars Casino at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 11 to benefit the Captain Joseph House Foundation, a non-profit corporation created to lend support to the families of our country’s fallen military heroes.

Doors open at 6 p.m., with a brief program at 6:45 p.m. and music at 7 p.m. with tickets costing $10 and are available at www.brownpapertickets.com/event/897408 and at the Totem Rewards Club counter in the casino lobby.

You must be 21 to enter.

All proceeds from ticket sales will be donated to the Foundation.7 Cedars also hosts a Veterans Day Buffet from 11 a.m.–9 p.m. on Tuesday in the Salish Room with veterans eating free.

The Captain Joseph House Foundation will staff a table throughout the day to thank veterans for their services and answer questions about Captain Joseph House and its mission.

With both volunteer and paid staff, donated funding and inspiration, the Foundation ensures a place of respite for the families of fallen military servicemen and women of all branches who have died in combat since 9/11, and provides a continuum of care for their personal healing.

There will be no cost to the families for transportation, lodging, and meals during their stay. Captain Joseph House is in the process of remodeling and has a target date for a Grand Opening celebration on Memorial Day Weekend 2015 with families joining arriving shortly thereafter.
