Adult education at DVLC

The ongoing program of Christian education at Dungeness Valley Lutheran Church will include a variety of topics this fall. On Sundays at 9:40 a.m., Sept. 22-Oct. 27, the Rev. Jack Anderson will lead a group focusing on “God First Loved Us,” the foundation of Christian faith. From Nov. 3-Dec. 1 the Rev. Gene Bradbury will lead “Christianity: The Fourth Generation,” exploring the years of the early Christian movement from 150 CE to 190 CE. This continues Rev. Bradbury’s series on the early years of Christianity.

At 6:45 p.m. on Wednesdays, beginning Sept. 11-Oct. 2 there will be a discussion of “The Making of the New Testament Canon,” a CD of Professor Bart Ehrman’s class, followed by “Speaking Christian,” from Oct. 9-30, a discussion of the book by Marcus Borg, and by a continuation of discussion of Ehrman’s class from Nov. 6-Nov. 27.
