Memoirs to be read

North Coast Writers offers Memoir as Story, a look at what a memoir is and how accurate memories are.

The free event is 7 p.m. Tuesday, April 8, at Wine on the Waterfront in Port Angeles.

Three writers reading from their work are Molly Hollenbach, Diana Somerville and Mary-Alice Boulter, all members of the writing group.

Blue Whole Gallery opens 7 days a week

Winter is over! Beginning in April, the Blue Whole Gallery hours are back to normal: 10 a.m-5 p.m. Monday-Saturday; 11 a.m.-3 p.m. on Sunday. The gallery is at 129 W. Washington St., Sequim.

Help find Nemo

As part of the Family Flicks series, the Sequim Library presents the movie “Finding Nemo” at 3 p.m. Saturday, April 5.

Offered the first Saturday of each month through May, this family movie series presents beloved children’s movie classics, fun trivia, popcorn and refreshments — all are free.
