Toastmasters to talk interview skills

Featured speaker Kunal Moon will use his expertise to share with attendees what they need to know and do to successfully master their next interview at the SKWIM Toastmasters meeting set for 7-8:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 30, at the KSQM 91.5 FM broadcasting offices at 609 W. Washington St. and online (see skwimtm.org).

Attendees will learn how to land an interview, how to make a good first impression, how to structure thoughts, and how to gain the confidence needed to hear the words “You’re hired!,” event organizers say.

“I balked on a job interview, joined toastmasters, and now have a job I love,” longtime Toastmasters member Karen Hogan said.

SKWIM Toastmasters is part of Toastmasters International, a worldwide nonprofit educational organization that “empowers individuals to become more effective communicators and leaders.” The Sequim club meets 7-8:30 p.m. each Tuesday at the KSQM offices and on Zoom.
