Out Loud Story Slam
The next Story Slam, which will be on the topic “Breaking the Rules,” is coming Saturday, May 17 at Olympic Theatre Arts, 414 N. Sequim Ave.
Storytellers have six minutes to tell their story. They are judged by the audience, but the event is all in the spirit of sharing. Winners at each event will go on to participate in a future Grand Slam. Audience members can also participate anonymously, or just enjoy the tales of the evening. Ten tellers will be selected in total. If you are interested in telling, or have been thinking about telling and would like a little more guidance, contact Out Loud Story Slam at outloudstoryslam@gmail.com.
Doors open at 6:15 p.m. and the show starts at 7 p.m.
Tickets are $15 online at olympictheaterearts.org, or $20 at the door if available. Cash and card are accepted.
