Singers set concerts for Oct. 30, 31

The Peninsula Men’s Gospel Singers are back on stage, live, for a pair of concerts set for 7 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 30, and Saturday, Oct. 31, at Calvary Chapel Sequim, 138 W. Washington St.

Participants will be wearing masks, temperatures will be checked at the door and social distancing will be observed, event organizers say.

Admission is free; however, tickets are limited because of seating. Reserve tickets by contacting Dave Meyer at 360-457-1001.

Port Angeles gallery to feature Elstrom’s ceramics, textiles

Cindy Elstrom is the featured artist at Harbor Art Gallery, 114 N. Laurel St., Port Angeles, in November and December.

The gallery is open 11 a.m.-4 p.m., Wednesday-Saturday.

Elstrom, part owner of the Harbor Art Gallery who primarily works in ceramics and textiles, has four decades working with clay and taught art classes at Peninsula College for eight years.

Besides Harbor Art Gallery, Sunny Farms Country Store in Sequim carries a limited line of Elstrom’s ceramics.

You can also find her booth at the Juan de Fuca and Lavender Weekend festivals along with several other local events.
