Libraries offer free backpack buddy kits

Youths can stop by a local North Olympic Library System branch to pick up a free Backpack Buddy Take & Make kit and create their own plushie to clip onto a backpack.

This kid-friendly take and make craft is recommended for grades 2 and up. Adult supervision may be required because of the use of a sewing needle. Supplies and instructions included, all users need is a pair of scissors.

Kits are available at all branches while supplies last.
