Wood artisans set show; fiber festival sale on tap; Christmas at the Fifth scheduled

Wood artisans set show

The Pacific Northwest Wood Artisan’s annual “Show and Sell” event is 9 a.m.-3 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 7, at Pioneer Park, 387 E. Washington St., Sequim.

Members of the group include (but are not limited to) beginning and experienced carvers, driftwood artists, turners, intarsia, pyrography, furniture makers and chainsaw artists.

Fiber festival sale set

The North Olympic Fiber Arts Festival Show and Sale will be from 11 a.m.-6 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 29, at the Museum & Arts Center.

During the last day of the “Parallel Patterns” fiber art exhibition, delight in a special Small Business Saturday Fiber Arts Market event supporting local artists and producers selling fiber to finished products at Museum & Arts Center, 175 W. Cedar St., downtown Sequim.

Meet the creators and learn about the methods used to make these one-of-a-kind works. Artists on hand include Lynn Baritelle, Renne Emiko Brock-Richmond, MarySue French, Sue Nylander and Marla Varner, with members of the North Olympic Shuttle And Spindle Guild.


Christmas at the Fifth

The Fifth Avenue Retirement Center will have an evening of Christmas music and refreshments at 6:30 p.m. Monday, Dec. 15, with the Grand Olympic Chorus.

It’s a free event but RSVP to the Fifth Avenue at 638-3345.
