Air Affaire flies back to airport

The Olympic Peninsula Air Affaire returns for its third year from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday-Sunday, Aug. 29-30, at Sequim Valley Airport, 468 Dorothy Hunt Lane.

The Olympic Peninsula Air Affaire returns for its third year from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday-Sunday, Aug. 29-30, at Sequim Valley Airport, 468 Dorothy Hunt Lane.

Returning features this year are the hot air balloons which launch between 7-7:30 a.m. daily, the wing walkers, sky divers and smoke planes at 10 a.m. Saturday, aircraft and experimental airplane displays, an automobile show, RC airplanes demonstrations, aerial demonstrations, airplane rides, the Ageless Aviation Dreams program, vendors, food and music.

New this year are the Blackjack Squadron out of Arlington flying in formation at 11 a.m. Saturday and six balloons hosting a moon glow at 8 p.m.

Cost for the event is $5 a car load and an additional $5 for the moon glow.
