Shirley Mercer knows firsthand how difficult it is to be the caregiver for a family member.

To help others in that situation “reset and recharge,” she is offering free drop-in watercolor classes for caregivers on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays at the LARC Gallery, 166 E. Bell St., Sequim.

Mercer also will supply all the materials needed for the free classes.
