Author spins Wyoming Western saga

Signs at MAC swap meet Saturday

From the prairie days of Wyoming to the swap meets of Sequim, local author Louise Lenahan Wallace is ready to share her stories.

Wallace will sign copies of her four books, including her newest effort, “Day Unto Day,” at the Museum & Arts Center’s upcoming swap meet on July 28.

Centered on a group in post-Civil War Wyoming, Wallace’s books are a mix of western, historical and romance genres, she said.

She recently won first place in short story adult fiction with the Wyoming Writers Inc. in early June for her story “Length of Days,” based on her first book, “The Longing of the Day.”

Wallace is in the middle of her fifth book, which features all of the characters from her novels “The Longing of the Day,” “Day Star Rising,” “Days of Eternity” and “Day Unto Day.”

Her books will be for sale at the swap meet and are available online and at Port Angeles booksellers.
