The Olympic Peninsula’s original “Musical Theater Duo” bring their third-annual show, “Broadway and Bordeaux,” to the main stage of Olympic Theatre Arts Center at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 27.

The event benefitting OTA features baritone Joel Yelland, soprano Jaie Livingstone and accompanist Darrell Plank.

Tickets are $15 for this benefit event and can be purchased at the box office between 1 p.m. and 5 p.m., Monday through Friday, or at the door. The OTA box office also can be reached at 683-7326. The concert is at Olympic Theatre Arts, 414 N. Sequim Ave.

The idea for “Broadway and Bordeaux” was born when Yelland asked Livingstone to put together an evening of musical theater for a winery in his hometown of Omak. The pair have been making music together ever since.

Both Yelland and Livingstone have classical training—Livingstone earned her Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance at Ithaca College in New York and Yelland completed a music degree at Central Washington University before pursuing a career in medicine. The two bring decades of training and experience to the stage.
