City of Sequim selects ‘Karaoke Idol’ winners

The City of Sequim finished the 2013 Music in the Park program with the second annual Karaoke Idol competition.

 

Sixteen contestants sang for the title with Tom Heintz winning first place for his versions of “Unforgettable” and “Can’t Help Falling in Love.”

 

Kristy Douglas won second place and Jon Wall took third place in the competition.

 

Hosts for the evening were Pepper Fisher and Sue Hagener. The judges were city representatives Elray Konkel, Bill Dickinson and Barbara Hanna.
