Clallam County Genealogical Society sets speaker for spring seminar

The Clallam County Genealogical Society (CCGS) has opened registration for their Spring Seminar set for 9:30 a.m.-2 p.m. on Saturday April 13, at the CCGS Research Center, 403 E. Eighth St., Port Angeles. The event is also available on Zoom.
The featured speaker is Thomas MacEntee, a genealogist well known known for his podcasts and “his ability to give wonderful lectures,” organizers said.
“He is also a favorite due to a zany sense of humor he brings to all of his presentations.
”He has combined his love of history, research acumen and his understanding of technology to help others learn new techniques and methodology, breaking down brick walls.”
The seminar will include three topics: “10 Must Haves for Genealogy and Family Research,” “The Mysterious Death of Anne T. Phillips” and “Did I get Everything? Creating a Checklist for Genealogical Research.”
Registration is $45 for CCGS members and $50 for their families, or $50 for non-members.
Early registration closes Tuesday, March 19 (save $5), and registration overall closes Tuesday, April 9.

For those attending online Zoom codes will be sent as soon as the fee is received.
