The Co-op Farm and Garden, 216 E. Washington St., hosts Megan Davis, Clallam County waste prevention specialist, from 11 a.m.-noon Friday, April 26.
Davis will talk about ways to reduce household waste. With information about composting to recycling right, she will offer handouts, talk about collection and sorting strategies, answer questions and help guide residents in reducing their carbon footprint by reducing waste.
Whether it be recovered edible food, composting, recycling correctly or reusing materials, the Clallam County Waste Prevention Program offers opportunities to help citizens and businesses become more efficient and sustainable by taking action in becoming responsible and educated consumers.
