‘Color Play’ on display at The Fifth Avenue

Check out a collection of vividly colored art quilts, jewelry, sculptures and wearable art at “Color Play,” an exhibit featuring 18 regional textile artists, at The Fifth Avenue, 500 W. Hendrickson Road.

Open through from 8 a.m.-6 p.m. daily through Sunday, April 28, the Peninsula Fiber Artists exhibit includes pieces by Sequim artists Linda Carlson, Kathie Cook, Liisa Fagerlund, Lynn Gilles and Susan Melka, Port Angeles artists Evette Allerdings and Michelle Johnson, Port Townsend artists Leslie Dickinson, Caryl Bryer Fallert-Gentry, Sue Gale, Annie Karl, Kindy Kemp, Cynthia LeRouge and Debra E. Olson, Nordland artist Susan Sawatzky, Port Hadlock artist Larkin Van Horn, Bainbridge Island artist Donna Lee Dowdney, and Poulsbo artist Daera Dobbs.

Peninsula Fiber Artists meets the second Wednesday of each month with sessions alternating between the Gardiner Community Center and the Northwind Art space at Fort Worden in Port Townsend.
