Seattle’s Splinter Dance Company is joining Sequim’s Aspire Academy of Expressive Arts to create a satellite performance group, The Splinter Project, dedicated to the development of dancers and performers ages 11-adult. The project provides intensive training workshops, regular rehearsals and performance opportunities, using performing arts as tools for social change. Admittance is by audition, held from 2-4:30 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 23, at Aspire Academy, 160 Harrison Road, Sequim. Those interested should call Aspire at 681-3979. Submitted photo
