Dine, take a cruise around Protection Island

Enjoy a ride on the 55 passenger, 65-foot-long Glacier Spirit for the Puffin Sunset Marine Cruise, a narrated program on marine bird life and marine mammals found between Sequim’s John Wayne Marina and the Protection Island National Wildlife Refuge, during Lavender Festival Weekend.

 

The cruises are set for 6:30-9 p.m. on Friday, July 19, and Saturday, July 20.

 

Cost is $65 per person. The fee includes a salmon dinner. Wine may be purchased on board. Expect to see tufted puffins, rhinoceros auklets and other sea birds.

 

Dress casually and bring a warm jacket.
