Peninsula’s favorite concert duo returns to Peninsula College on Saturday, Nov. 8, when The Duet — The Bottom Line Duo opens the 2014-2015 season for Peninsula College’s Maier Hall Concert Series.

The concert begins at 7 p.m. in Maier Performance Hall on the Port Angeles campus, 1502 E. Lauridsen Blvd., Port Angeles.

The Duet is Traci Winters on the cello and Spenser Hoveskeland on bass. Both are graduates of Port Angeles High School.

They specialize in chamber music and use that discipline and attention for detail to honor the music of many other styles, including Broadway, Argentine tango, Mexican folk, Klezmer, rock, and even country music.

The result is a unique performance style that includes adaptations of famous, new and existing works as well as anecdotes and comedy.

Tickets for the concert are $15 for adults and $5 for students. They may be purchased online at www.pencol.edu/cultural-events.
