Four award-winning Elvis tribute artists present “An Evening with Elvis” at 7 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 7, at the Vern Burton Center, 321 E. Fifth St., Port Angeles. The event is a benefit for Volunteer Hospice of Clallam County and the Olympic Peninsula Humane Society.

The entertainers are all award-winners who have placed in Elvis competitions.

Bret Wiggins, a Seattle architect, began performing in Port Angeles at age 13 at Roosevelt Junior High School. A three-time runner-up at the Seattle Invitationals, he placed second as an amateur at the Penticton, British Columbia, Elvis Festival in 2009, then placed as a finalist in the pro division in 2010.

Dino Macris, a Boeing engineer, started performing as an Elvis tribute artist to bring smiles to the faces of those suffering from cancer. He has won the Seattle Elvis Invitationals three times.

British Columbia singer Eli Williams finished this year as a finalist in the Elvis Festival in Las Vegas, Nev.

Aaron Wong placed as the first runner-up at the Chinook Winds Casino Elvis competition, a pre-qualifier for the world championship in Memphis.

Together, the four will cover Elvis’ varied styles and large repertoire in a program celebrating the King’s 77th birthday.

Tickets are $15 for adults, $12 for seniors and students, and are available at The Buzz and Pacific Mist in Sequim and at Jim’s Pharmacy, Necessities and Temptations, Port Book and News and Swain’s General Store in Port Angeles, as well as at the door.
